Maximilian’s song »Miss Underwater« will be the first single of Taiwanese singer Faith Yang’s new album »Self-Selected« (release April 10th). Watch the brand-new music video in full length here.
Maximilian’s new song »Your Kingdom« will be featured in Swiss director Thomas Luz’ new play »Die Verlorene Kunst, Ein Geheimnis Zu Bewahren«. The premiere will take place at »Rote Fabrik« in Zürich [CH] on February 26th.
Maximilian just signed a record contract with Louisville Records. His new album »One Day« will be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on April 3rd, in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain and Sweden on May 4th and in the UK on June 15th.

New inteview (Korean)
There’s a long interview with Maximilan in South Korean magazine »Naeilshot« (#445, November 2008); you can read it on their website. The paper version is in our press archive as well. Also check other new interviews and features from South Korea, China and Hong Kong.
In South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan the album comes with a twelve track bonus CD with rare demo versions and four previously unreleased songs. You'll get the bonus CD in China along with the concert ticket for the Beijing and Shanghai show.
Site redesign and new sections: Fan art, press archive
A number of things are new on this site:
The design has been changed to match the upcoming release, One Day (the old look was inspired by »Rose« which is several years old by now);
As of today, we have a Fan Art section with drawings and paintings that Maximilian’s fans have made;
The text archive has been restructured a little while ago: it has been split up into a press archive that includes reviews as well (some of which are now also available as facsimiles) and the general “info” part, which contains general information, portraits and Maximilian’s biography as well as the Old News archive;
Along with the new design, the coding of the entire site has been overhauled – it now supports a much wider variety of screen resolutions and text sizes, loads faster, and still works nicely with text browsers. Support for Internet Explorer 5.x and older has been dropped though.
A new DCD has been released on Avant Garden Records, Pastel Music and Pocket Music – CD 1 with cover versions is identical in all three versions, the tracklisting of the CD 2 is different. Details here:
"I’ll Be A Virgin, I’ll Be A Mountain" is being released on V2 Records, 2006. The exact release dates are: September 22nd (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Taiwan, South Korea, Hongkong), September 25th (Benelux), September 27th (Scandinavia), October 23rd (France), December 4th (UK).
The album is available as CD, LP, and limited edition CD (digipak) that comes with an added bonus CD. For tracklisting, artwork, lyrics, the "Silly Lily, Funny Bunny" video and the first reviews follow the links below!
Maximilian finished recording his new album, which is due to be released on V2 Records in September this year. The title is now confirmed: it will be called "I’ll Be a Virgin, I’ll Be a Mountain".

Maximilian plays live at the "10 years Kitty-Yo" anniversary party at Volksbühne
(Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz) on November 19th, 2004. The line-up also includes Peaches, Rhythm King
and Her Friends, Rechenzentrum, Tarwater, Sex in Dallas, Supersoul, and a lot of DJs.
